Software Engineering vs Computer Science

Just some pointers on the difference between Software Enginnering and Computer Science:

Open Courseware Revisited

I’ve found this article on MIT Open Courseware at href="http://www.pixelcharmer.com/">PixelCharmer. It gives a
great insight on why this is a good project and it also shows that
people are praising the project for the wrong reason:
‘The revolutionary action that MIT has taken is that they have
provided the support their faculty needs to publish, and they have
enlisted excellent designers to provide a seamless, browsable,
interface to these course materials.’

MIT Open Courseware isn’t unique after all: href="http://wnt.cc.utexas.edu/~wlh/index.cfm">World Lecture
Hall and href="http://ci.columbia.edu/ci/eresources/classweb.html">Columbia
Interactive.

MIT OpenCourseWare

The MIT as released the first batch of
online course material as promissed some time ago. At the MIT OCW
site we can read:
We hope the idea of openly sharing course materials will
propagate throughout many institutions and create a global web of
knowledge that will enhance the quality of learning and, therefore,
the quality of life worldwide.
