Bonsais
About a year ago my girlfriend gave me this Bonsai. I had already killed one so I decided I had to take good care of this one.
Incidentally I saw an ad for a free Bonsai course in the faculty where I teach so we both enrolled in it.
The first of these two photos shows that same Bonsai after some time of dedicated but wreckless treatment. The second one was taken today and is the result of one year of informed work.

I think the results talk for themselves. By the way that Bonsai is a 14 years old Chinese Elm.

Hi. I had a couple of “mandarins” at home. I let them fly. Cages are not their natural environment.
Do you know you should not have bonsais at home? In Feng Shui, a Bonsai or other plants that are forced to be small mean that you are forcing some area of your life do be “small”. The area where you have the Bonsai. Search for a Bagua and see in what part of your house is the Bonsai and see what it represents in your life.
It is wonderful to care for a plant or an animal, but let them follow their nature. When I mean animal, I am including humans. We are animals too. Do you like to be forced to something? I dont.
If you let them grow, let them be, you will find the real love of caring.
