Topics: Finally someone is working on blog categorization, just
as I suggested href="http://www.andrerestivo.com/weblog/archives/001518.html#001518">
some time ago.
Paolo and href="http://matt.blogs.it/2003/04/11.html#a862">Matt just
released a first draft of Easy News Topics, a RSS 2.0 module that
allows topic incorporation in RSS feeds (using Topic Clouds).

ENT will enable aggregators to provide new features like:

  • group posts from many feeds by interest.
  • filtering posts I don’t want to see
  • scoring & promote posts
  • recombe different feeds dynamically.

Radio users will be able to use ENT soon and I hope MT and other
blogging tools follow their steps.

Hybernate

href="http://hibernate.bluemars.net/">Hibernate Is another Java
to Relational persistence and query service. Much like JAWS, now
part of the JBoss project, Hybernate can map Java classes into
relational tables without much work for the developer. Some cool href="http://hibernate.bluemars.net/4.html">features:

  • Transparent persistence
  • Object-oriented query language
  • Object/Relational mapping definition
  • Ultra-high performance
  • J2EE integration

Thanks to Sergio for
pointing this one to me.

Seville is only a game away

Porto 4 - Lazio 1: I might be soaked, but was it worth it!?!
What a wonderfull game I saw tonight. 4 balls made their way into
Lazio’s net but it could have been much more.
May we meet href="http://www.uefa.com/competitions/UEFACup/fixturesresults/round=1631/match=70975/Report=RP.html">
Boavista in the final.

A rampant FC Porto took a giant step towards the UEFA
Cup final after they demolished S.S. Lazio in their semi-final
first-leg match at Das Antas stadium. After an early goal from
Claudio López for the visitors, Porto hit back with two goals from
Derlei and one each for Maniche and Hélder Postiga.
With the rain pouring down Porto gave a mesmerising display of
attacking football that left the Lazio side bemused and fortunate
to have conceded only four goals over the course of an
extraordinary game.

Pinto da Costa (Porto President) at his best:

“Não chegou nenhuma proposta depois desta exibição mas
também não fui ainda ao fax. De qualquer forma também posso
informar que ao lado do fax há um cesto de papéis…”

Use the fish! (or maybe
not, I just saw the translation. We have one mad fish!)
