Deep Flight

comes the first personal submarine. 
The Deep Flight Aviator (DF Aviator) was built to fully
explore the concept of underwater flight and to introduce the
public to the wonders of deep-sea exploration. The sub, a two-seat
underwater flight trainer, will open dramatic new frontiers for
exploration, adventure science, filming, and search/survey, among
others. Using the DF Aviator, H.O.T. will issue the first
underwater pilots’ licenses through their one of a kind Sub-Sea
Flight School.

This little piece of software is very useful for those having ACPI
enabled laptops running linux, like me. It monitors cpu load and
changes between two performance states in order to save battery
time. I made a few changes of my own (long live GPL) in order to
get it using /proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/throttling
instead of /proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/performance.
This will enable more cpu states and a finer grain of control. You
can download my version of the application
here. It seems to be working fine but I still need to run some
tests to see if it really pays of.
