Abstract:
Server Administrators often have to analyze server logs
to find if something is wrong with their machines. In larger
systems these logs can become too large to inspect manually so some
tools have been developed to aid the Server Administrator in this
task. Most of these tools force the server administrator to define
what he is expecting to find in the logs if everything is working
correctly, and report all the lines that dont match what was
defined as normal. This means that a enormous effort must be put
into configuring these kind of log analyzers. This report tries to
define a different kind of log analyzer, one that doesnt need a
big setup effort and that can learn what is and what isnt normal
as it inspects the system logs.

The new Sony Clie has some impressive specs.
Sony’s latest handheld is state-of-the-art; features
include a 200 MHz processor, Palm OS 5, integrated Bluetooth, a
WiFi expansion slot and a 2 megapixel digital camera.
Seems a little big though.

Scott points to an interesting feature of
href="http://www.movabletype.org/">MT that I didn’t know about.
It gets even more interesting: TrackBack allows you to
create post categories that automatically ping other
TrackBack-enabled weblogs each time a post is entered into that
category. For example, if you have a category dedicated solely to
JavaScript topics like I do, you can configure MT to ping my weblog
each time you enter a JavaScript-related post.
It seems to have great potential.

Declarative Drawing of UML diagrams. Seems a nice idea,
basically you just have to add some simple javadoc style comments
to your classes to get great automatically generated UML Class
Diagrams.
class Tyre {}
class Engine {}
class Body {}
/**
* @composed 1 - 4 Tyre
* @composed 1 - 1 Engine
* @composed 1 - 1 Body
*/
class Car {}
