The MIT as released the first batch of
online course material as promissed some time ago. At the MIT OCW
site we can read:
We hope the idea of openly sharing course materials will
propagate throughout many institutions and create a global web of
knowledge that will enhance the quality of learning and, therefore,
the quality of life worldwide.

Phoenix is a redesign of the Mozilla browser component, similar to
Galeon, K-Meleon and Chimera, but written using the XUL user
interface language and designed to be cross-platform. A faster
Mozilla (not that it needs to be any faster) but still a 8MB
download.

Just got back from a great Jazz concert. I knew how good Diana
Krall was in record but a live performance is something different.
Diana talked a lot with the audience during the show, she even said
some jokes and the audience could see they were having fun. The
band supporting her (guitar, bass and drums) showed to be great and
she plays the piano wonderfully.
When a mobile phone rang in the audience:
Diana: Tell him I’ll call him later. Damn

i’ve told him not to phone me at work.

I’m looking forward for Diana Krall’s performance at the Coliseu
do Porto tonight. This is the third time I try to see her live.
The other times I tried to buy the ticket only 2 months
before the show so they were all sold out. But this time I bought
them 5 months before. *grim*
