A framework for Open Source projects

A nice Master Thesis defining a framework (an organizational
framework, not a development one) for Open Source projects.

Abstract The historical roots of Open Source are
outlined. A comparison between Open Source projects and classical
projects highlights strengths and weaknesses of both, and defines
their attributes. Existing Open Source theories are evaluated, and
the requirements for a framework for Open Source projects are
determined. The framework introduces the notions of actors, roles,
areas, processes and tools, and depicts their interrelationships in
a matrix. Each aspect of the framework is then further developed to
serve both as a conceptual foundation for Open Source and a help
for organizing and managing Open Source projects.

Mixonic

A nice solution that allows independent artists to get their music
in the market.

Tumba!

A new portuguese search engine is born. Looks nice though its still
beta. Very Google-like. But I doubt it will ever beat a
’site:pt’ search in Google. We can only hope.

Flexible Layouts

ALA as an article
explaining the fundamentals of CSS positioning for grid like
websites. And also a little javascript hack to let the child of an
element inherit some information from his parent. In my humble
opinion I think the article forces developers to code some layout
information into their HTML which is not what CSS is built for. I
mean, I don’t want to include in my HTML stuff like this:
