The Universe in a Nutshell

Stephen Hawking’s follow-up to a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0553175211/andrerestiv04-21">

Having read href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0553175211/andrerestiv04-21">
A Brief History of Time a long time ago and more recently the

Ilustrated version of the same book, I couldn’t resist to
browse Hawking’s last book at a local bookstore.

I just skimmed through it but what i saw amazed me. Hawking did
it again. Not exactly a book for the masses but Hawking is able to
explain the most advanced theories about the Universe in the most
accessible way. The ilustrations are as beautifull as in the
illustrated version of A Brief History of Time. Definitively a must
have.

The Universe in a Nutshell attempts to address the
relative difficulty of Hawking’s first foray into popular science,
A Brief History of Time. While this sold in its millions, few
readers got past the first few chapters. Helpfully, this new work
is full of beautifully prepared colour illustrations and
decorations, and has a “tree-like” structure, so that readers can
skip from chapter to chapter without losing the
thread.
